Aesthetics

Pre Treatment Dermal Fillers

Please arrive to your appointment make up free.
To prevent bruising avoid the following 24 hours before alcohol, caffeinated drinks, extreme exercise and medications such as aspirin / ibuprofen which can thin the blood.
If you bruise easily please take arnica tablets for 1 week prior to your treatment.
If you suffer with cold sores please take aciclovir tablets for 5 days prior to treatment.

Post Treatment Dermal Fillers

Avoid exposure to UV light and heat (sun beds, sauna, steam rooms and hot showers) for 2 weeks.
No strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid wearing make up for 24 hours as this will reduce the risk of infection.
Avoid smoking for 24 hours.
Keep hydrated.
Paracetamol may be taken if you are experiencing mild pain.
Antihistamine and cold compress for swelling.
Arnica cream and pineapple juice for bruising.
Do not massage unless instructed to.

Anti Wrinkle

Pre Treatment

Please arrive to your appointment make up free.

Post Treatment

Be patient, it takes 10-14 days to see full effects of the treatment.
You may experience a mild headache after your treatment. Please stay hydrated. Paracetamol may be taken if necessary.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid touching or rubbing the areas treated for 24 hours.
No strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours as this will reduce the risk of infection.
Avoid hot showers, sun beds, sauna and steam rooms for 48 hours.
Remain upright for 4 hours to prevent the Anti Wrinkle from migrating.
Avoid any further cosmetic procedures for 2 weeks this includes semi permanent makeup and skin treatments.

Do you take card payment?

We accept both cash and card payments. Payment is due in full on the day .

Do I need to bring ID with me to my appointment?

You must be 18 or over when booking in for Filler and Anti Wrinkle treatments. You must bring a valid form of ID with you to your appointment, this includes your passport or driving license. If you fail to do so your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be lost.

Lashes

Pre Treatment

Avoid wearing mascara for 24 hours prior to having your treatment. Eye make up can interfere with the adhesive bond and shorten the life span of your lash extensions
Please avoid wearing any oil based products on or around your eyes.
Before infill appointments please ensure your lashes have been freshly washed. Aftercare kits available to purchase.
If you wear contact lenses please ensure you have removed these beforehand.
No caffeine at least 2 hours before as this can cause your eyes to flicker non stop and make the lash process longer.

Post Treatment

To allow time for bonding avoid getting lashes wet for 48 hours.
Avoid touching and brushing your lashes for the first 24 hours.
Avoid Sauna, steam, sunbed and hot showers for 48 hours.
Avoid wearing mascara and strip lashes.
Use water based make up and make up removers.
Use a cotton bud to remove all make up around your eyes.
Keep lashes away from direct heat.
Avoid picking and pulling and rubbing your eyes. This will damage your natural lashes.
Avoid sleeping on your front.
Avoid perming, tinting or using eyelash curlers
Please ensure you have your lashes professionally removed.
Remember to be cleaning your lashes daily.

Brows

Pre Treatment

No self tanning products should be use for one week prior and 48 hours after your treatment.
Leave brows to grow out before for best the results.
Do not apply makeup or any oil based products before having your treatment.

Post Treatment

Keep brows clean and dry for 24 hours.
Do not touch or rub your eyebrows for 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid applying make up,creams and oils to the brows for 24 hours.
Avoid swimming and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid sun beds, saunas, steam room, and hot showers for 24 hours.
Please follow all aftercare provided to you after your treatment.

Is a patch test required?

Yes a patch test is required for all new clients.

Please contact us to arrange this. It is your responsibility to arrange your patch test, if you arrive to your appointment without your patch test being completed you will be turned away and you will be charged for that appointment.

Skin

Pre Treatment

Who is Dermaplaning for?

Dermaplaning is suitable to almost all skin types with the exception if you suffer from active acne or have any current skin conditions such as eczema or rosacea. If you have acne please contact us to start your skin journey.

What to expect after a Dermaplaning treatment?

Immediately after your treatment your skin will look smooth and radiant with an consistent tone and texture. You may experience mild redness but there is no downtime, although it is advised that you avoid wearing make up for 24 hours after treatment to avoid blocking the pores.

Dermaplaning will exfoliate and remove dead skin cells along with fine vellus hairs known as peach fuzz, this will make your skin feel silky smooth. An added benefit of the treatment is that you will have a flawless base for makeup application. Expect your skin to be very sensitive to sun exposure please avoid the use of sun-beds for 5 days after your treatment.

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?

A common misconception with Dermaplaning is that the hair will grow back thicker and darker. This is false. The facial hair is superficial vellus hair, different to terminal hair that grows on the arms, legs and pubic areas. Once the hair has been removed it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment, it is impossible to affect the hair follicle or change the type of hair by cutting it.

Recommended Dermaplaning sessions for best results?

Dermaplaning removes 21 days worth of dead skin cells. You must wait a minimum of 4 weeks between each treatment. Regular monthly treatments are advised.

Who are skin peels for?

Chemical skin peels are suitable for all ages and skin types. Chemical peels are used to restore a youthful, vibrant appearance from wrinkly sun damaged skin. Peels improve acne scars and skin texture and reduces the effects of sun damage / pigmentation.

Why Microneedling?

Microneedling is a perfect anti ageing treatment for heathy glowing skin. The process involves implanting multiple superficial puncture wounds into the skin, releasing growth factors that stimulate fibroblast creating new collagen and elastin. Microneedling treats everything from fine line and wrinkles to hyperpigmentation and dull skin as well skin concerns such as acne scaring and stretch marks (on the body). Recovery post treatment is quick with no residual pain or discomfort.

Pre Treatment

Please arrive to your appointment make up free.
Avoid Retinol for 5 days prior, and any other exfoliating skincare products such as AHA/BHA.
Avoid waxing one week prior.
Avoid sun exposure and sun beds two weeks prior to your appointment, sunburned skin cannot be treated.
No shaving on the day of your treatment.
You cannot attend if you have active herpes simplex virus. If there is a history of cold sores, an antiviral agent should be taken for two days prior to and the day of your treatment.
No treatments can be carried out if you have been taking roaccutane or accutane in the last 6 months. If you are currently taking any acne medication I need to be notified on your consent form.

Infill Policies

When booking yours infills please remember

2 weeks infills are up to 14 days from your last appointment, anything over would be classed as a 3 week infill.

3 week infills are up to 21 days from your last appointment, anything over you will be charged for a fullset due to lashes being outgrown.

Out Of Hours

We offer out of hour’s appointments for an extra fee. These slots can be booked online or feel free to message us if you cannot find your desired time.
